Shopware vouchers in Count-IT

With the Shopware integration you use vouchers and gift cards from your Shopware environment at the Count-IT POS system.

In short

The Shopware integration is for vouchers: in the POS system you check the balance and validity of a fixed-amount Shopware voucher and redeem it in full in one go. Products, stock and orders are not synchronised with Shopware. Useful for shops that issue vouchers through Shopware.

Shopware is an e-commerce platform. Count-IT uses the integration as a voucher provider: vouchers that exist in your Shopware environment can be accepted in store.

In the POS system you check the balance and validity of a voucher and redeem it. This works for fixed-amount Shopware promotions; a voucher is redeemed in full in one go. Selling or topping up vouchers in Shopware is not possible from the POS system. Internal Count-IT gift cards do not need an external integration.

You choose which data types and directions you use for each integration. Pick one leading system per data type, so changes do not overwrite each other.

Setup

How to set it up

Add the app
Add Shopware via Settings › Master data › App connector › Apps and enter the details you received from Shopware.
Set up the payment method
Link Shopware to a gift card payment method, so you can scan or enter the card at the till.
Test
Check the balance of a test card and test a redemption. Only combine internal Count-IT gift cards with external cards once you have tested posting and balances.
