Count-IT B.V., registered with the Chamber of Commerce under no. 95904700 and located and office in (6045 JC) Roermond at the Produktieweg 1, is a company specializing in software development for one system on cash register management, inventory management, order management, reports, customer portal, CRM and more. In addition, Count-IT B.V. supplies the necessary hardware if required. On the website of Count-IT B.V. the above components are further explained (www.count-it.eu). On all described parts this privacy statement applies. Many of the company and or personal data of users of the services as well as supplier data under management of Count-IT B.V. are stored and managed by the internal ICT department. Count-IT B.V. complies with the General Data Protection Regulation and other European privacy laws and regulations.

Recording and processing of personal data
When you use the services of Count-IT B.V., your company and / or personal data are processed. This happens in different ways and for different purposes. In principle, Count-IT B.V. stores data only digitally. Digital data are retained for a period of 7 years, unless a longer or shorter retention period is required by law. Physical documents are not kept by default and are only stored when and as long as this is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. In that case, Count-IT B.V. ensures appropriate security measures to safeguard the privacy of data subjects. In the following, ‘data’ includes business and/or personal data. See below which category applies to you:

  • Are you an online website visitor www.count-it.eu
    When you visit our website you are providing data to Count-IT B.V. without perhaps being aware of it. This includes device data such as a unique device ID, the version of the operating system and settings of the device you use to access a service of Count-IT B.V. But also usage data about the services you use including the time, duration of use and content of the service. In addition, to the extent transmitted to Count-IT B.V., location data from your mobile device or data derived from your IP address are also used. If you send an email via the website then this email will be stored for the duration of 14 days.
  • Are you a visitor to the office of Count-IT B.V.
    Count-IT B.V. does not register visitor data. However, camera surveillance is available in the building where Count-IT B.V. has offices. This building is owned by a third party and Count-IT B.V. only rents office space here. The camera surveillance is managed by the owner of the building and falls under his responsibility. Count-IT B.V. has no access to the camera images, unless required by law or in cooperation with the owner of the property. The office space is only accessible during working hours and when at least one employee of Count-IT B.V. is present.
  • Are you a customer of Count-IT B.V.
    Count-IT B.V. uses the data provided by you (such as company name, establishment details, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, telephone number, contact person, e-mail address, bank account number, administrative data, and agreement) to implement the agreement(s) concluded with you on delivery of products and/or services. Your data will be kept for at least seven years after the end of the agreement, in accordance with legal retention periods.
  • Are you a supplier of Count-IT B.V.
    Count-IT B.V. uses the data provided by you (including company name, business details, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, tel. no., contact person, e-mail address, bank account number, administrative data, agreement) to implement the agreement(s) with you on purchase of services. Your data will be kept for at least seven years after the end of the agreement.
  • Are you a business user of Count-IT B.V.'s services.
    Count-IT BV uses the data provided by you to implement the agreements made for data storage and processing. This will be recorded in a processing agreement, which you will receive when entering into a service. The agreement will be kept for the duration of the cooperation and at least 7 years after termination of the agreement.
  • Are you a job applicant at Count-IT B.V.
    Count-IT B.V.. uses the data you provide (such as name, address and residence details, telephone number, email address, resume, cover letter, interview reports and any references) solely to assess and process your application. Your data will be kept for a maximum of 4 weeks after the end of the application process, unless you give permission to keep it longer (maximum 1 year) for future vacancies.
  • Are you doing an internship at Count-IT B.V.
    Count-IT B.V. uses the data provided by you (including name/ address/ place of residence + tel. data, internship agreement, registration of hours, internship report, starting date and e-mail address) to implement the internship agreement concluded with you. Your data will be kept for a minimum of 7 years.

Basis for data processing
We may lawfully process personal data about you only if we do so on a legal basis. We process your personal data because it is necessary for the performance of the agreement between you and us, as laid down in Article 6 paragraph 1 sub b of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). In addition, we may process your personal data for another legitimate interest, such as informing our clients about current events or changes in our services. This basis is laid down in Article 6 paragraph 1 sub f of the AVG.

Special personal data
Count-IT B.V.'s website and services do not intend to collect data on visitors under 16 years of age without parental/guardian/guardian consent. Count-IT B.V. cannot, however, verify that a visitor is 16 years of age or older. If you believe that Count-IT B.V. has collected personal information about a minor without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@count-it.eu so that this information can be deleted.

Data Security
Count-IT B.V. uses extensive security procedures for the protection of processed data, including to prevent unauthorized access to such data. Your business and/or personal data are stored on secure disks. In particular, we take the following measures:

  • Access to personal data is protected with a username and password;
  • Once received, the data is stored in a separate, protected and secure system;
  • We use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) that shield all information between you and our Web site when you enter personal data;
  • We keep logs of all access requests to company and/or personal data;
  • Digital backups are made. These are secured separately (both digitally (username + password)
  • We have processor agreements from our external partner(s).

Secrecy
Everyone who works within Count-IT B.V. and thus has access to Personal Data, are obliged to maintain confidentiality of these Personal Data. For the Processing of special Personal Data, everyone who processes them has a duty of confidentiality. This arises from the profession or employment contract of the person concerned.

Processing Register
Count-IT B.V. keeps a register of the processing activities carried out under its responsibility. This register contains the following information:

  1. The name and contact information of the Controller and, if applicable, the Data Protection Officer;
  2. The processing purposes;
  3. The categories of data covered by the Processing;
  4. The categories of recipients to whom Personal Data is provided;
  5. If possible, the intended time period within which the Personal Data should be deleted;
  6. If possible, a description of the technical and organizational measures taken

View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. If you have a question or request please send an email to privacy@count-it.eu with a copy of your passport or identity card. You may then shield your BSN, date of birth and photograph. Count-IT B.V. will in principle respond to a request for inspection or correction within four weeks. In case of a request for deletion Count-IT B.V. will delete the personal data concerned as soon as possible, unless and to the extent required by law, to retain the personal data concerned or there are other pressing reasons that oppose deletion. Count-IT B.V. will send you a confirmation message after executing a deletion request. If Count-IT B.V. has not (partially) deleted the personal data in question, Count-IT B.V. will send you a message explaining why the request could not (fully) be complied with. If Count-IT B.V. cannot or cannot fully determine to which personal data a request for access, correction or deletion relates, Count-IT B.V. may ask you to (further) specify your request. The execution of the request will then be suspended until you have provided the (further) specification.

Changes
