At Count-IT, reliability and transparency are our top priorities. That’s why our POS systems comply with fiscal requirements in both Germany and Belgium.

KassenSichV and DSFinV-K

Count IT B.V. is proud to collaborate with Fiskaly GmbH in Germany, the only provider with a fully certified Cloud TSS solution. Thanks to this API integration, our POS systems comply with the strict requirements of the German KassenSicherungsverordnung (KassenSichV) and we actively contribute to compliance with the GoBD.

Every transaction initiated or completed through our Count-IT application is automatically forwarded to Fiskaly. There, the data -such as item name, quantity, VAT category, and discounts- is digitally recorded and signed. The generated signature appears in the footer of the receipt, confirming the authenticity of the transaction. Users can also easily download DSFinV-K files, which are essential for tax audits in Germany.

GoBD

Count IT B.V., in collaboration with Interev GmbH, has prepared official procedural documentation (‘Verfahrensdokumentation’). This documentation is certified and sealed by Interev and serves as proof that our POS systems comply with German GoBD guidelines.

A well-prepared procedural documentation is mandatory when using electronic POS systems in Germany. It prevents bookkeeping from being rejected during a tax audit and provides transparency about how the system operates.

What is GoBD?
GoBD stands for Grundsätze zur ordnungsmäßigen Führung und Aufbewahrung von Büchern, Aufzeichnungen und Unterlagen in elektronischer Form sowie zum Datenzugriff (Principles for the proper management and storage of books, records, and documents in electronic form, as well as for data access). It is a guideline issued by the German Ministry of Finance that determines how companies must digitally store and manage their accounting and tax-related documents.

The GoBD sets requirements for:

  • Completeness and accuracy of data
  • Immutability of documents
  • Accessibility for tax audits
  • Documentation of processes and digital archiving

Failure to comply with the GoBD can result in tax penalties, reassessments, or even criminal consequences.

Circular 2020/C/20 of 27 January 2020

Count-IT B.V. has a direct API integration with Scrada in Belgium. Through this connection, users can access the Daily Receipts Book and Cash Book modules via the Count-IT application.

These digital accounting modules comply with the provisions of Belgian accounting legislation and Circular 2020/C/20 of January 27, 2020, issued by the Federal Public Service Finance. This way, we actively contribute to the correct and transparent processing of cash transactions within the Belgian fiscal framework.

Peppol

As of January 1, 2026, electronic invoicing via the Peppol network will be mandatory for all Belgian VAT-registered businesses operating in the B2B market.

Peppol is a European network for secure and standardized electronic invoicing and document exchange between businesses and governments. It is not a software package, but an infrastructure that connects companies’ invoicing software. Within Count-IT, it is possible to work via Peppol thanks to the integration with Scrada, enabling e-invoices to be sent and received quickly, reliably, and in full compliance with regulations.
